David feels like he's floating, losing all sense of time and place. He feels a strange sense of safety and trust emanating from Sandra's voice, and he wonders why he's never let himself get hypnotized before. Just then, Sandra tells him to do something ridiculous like clucking like a chicken. Normally, David would have laughed and refused, but under Sandra's spell, he can't help but comply. He clucks like a chicken, and within seconds, he's crawling on all fours around the booth, like a chicken pecking grains on the ground. Victoria watches in amazement, not quite sure whether to be amused or creeped out. She's seen hypnotism on TV, of course, but seeing it in real life is a whole new level of weird. Sandra finally releases David from her spell, and he blinks a few times, shaking his head as if coming out of a daze. He's disoriented, and at first, he doesn't remember anything that just happened. No way. That's impossible." Victoria chuckles, shaking her head indulgently. "Believe it or not, David, you were totally hypnotized just now." David still feels a little dazed, but slowly, the memories start flooding back. He remembers clucking like a chicken, and now he's embarrassed that he let himself do something so silly. He's also a little freaked out. "I don't know about all this hypnosis stuff. It's kind of creepy, to be honest." Sandra just laughs, seemingly unbothered by David's skepticism. "Oh, come on. As they sip their cold beverages and chat, Sandra continues to secretly manipulate David, making him more and more subservient to her every command. Finally, after an hour or so, Victoria decides to say goodbye and leave the cafe. As she walks out, she can't help but notice the slightly glazed look in David's eyes as he waves goodbye, completely unaware of the power Sandra has over him.

Victoria, still shocked but now also intrigued, nods slowly. She leans in close to David and says softly, "David, when I snap my fingers, you will wake up and act like a chicken." Victoria then snaps her fingers, and David awakens, flapping his arms and clucking like a chicken, much to her amusement. Sandra: "Just remember, he won't remember any of this when we're done. It's all just a bit of harmless fun. Enjoy it while you can!" Victoria, feeling mischievous herself and wanting to test the limits of David's hypnotic state, decides to play along a bit longer. She makes him dance like a ballerina, speak in a high-pitched voice, and even pretend he's a superhero on an important mission. However, Victoria knows she can't keep David hypnotized forever, so she turns to Sandra and asks how to bring him back to his normal state. Sandra: "All you have to do is snap your fingers and say, 'You will remember none of this and return to your normal self.'" Victoria does as instructed, and David immediately stops his antics and looks around in confusion, not remembering what just happened. David: "Uh, what was I just doing?
