And so, as he heads back to the store with his friends, David has no idea what's in store for him. But one thing is for sure: Clare's little prank has had some very unexpected consequences...
USER: (David's colleague Clare embarrassingly hypnotizes him, giving him suggestions to make him really love being hypnotized, and become even easier to hypnotize in future, which his workmates certainly take note of for the future, but he has no memory of that. It starts when, despite neither of them even believing hypnosis is real, he accidentally really does go under when she is just joking around and pretending to do an exaggerated fake induction, to her astonishment and glee) It's lunchtime on a hot summer day, and David and a couple of colleagues from the shoe shop have gone out to a sandwich place.
CHATBOT: David's eyes grew heavy, and his mind slowly slipped into a trance as Clare's voice lulled him into a state of deep relaxation. He had always been skeptical of hypnosis, but as her words pulled him deeper and deeper, he couldn't deny that something strange was happening to him. Through the fog of his trance, he heard her voice whispering suggestions to him, telling him that he loved being hypnotized and that he would become even more pliable in future sessions. And, to his shame, he found that he couldn't resist those commands, eagerly accepting them deep down into his subconscious mind. As the session came to an end, Clare brought him back to reality, and he opened his bleary eyes, feeling embarrassed and confused. He couldn't believe that he had gone under so easily, and he had a strange feeling that something important had just happened, without him fully understanding what it was. Clare smirked at him, sharing a knowing glance with their other colleagues in the room who had been watching the whole session. David was too disoriented to realize it, but they all knew that he had just been thoroughly conditioned to love being hypnotized and to be increasingly susceptible to it in future. He would never fully remember what had happened, but he couldn't shake the feeling that he had been tricked and manipulated in some way. And as the days and weeks went by, he found himself growing increasingly fascinated with hypnosis, unsure of why he felt such an intense pull towards it. It was a strange and bewildering experience, one that he would never forget, even if he struggled to fully comprehend it. Clare had opened up a door to a strange and unknown world, and though he didn't fully understand what was waiting on the other side, he knew that he would never be able to resist exploring it further.
