CHATBOT: As they chat and share stories, one of the Aussie girls, a tall and charismatic brunette named Tahlia, mentions that she's a trained hypnotist. Danny's ears prick up at this, but he tries to act nonchalant. "Really? Wow, that's pretty cool," he says, taking another sip of his beer. "Have you ever hypnotised anyone?" "Oh, all the time," Tahlia says with a grin. "I'm always practising my skills on my friends." Danny's heart starts pounding in his chest. He knows he should keep his distance, but he can't help feeling drawn to this woman who holds such power over the human mind. "Uh, do you think you could hypnotise me?" he asks, feeling his cheeks turn pink. Tahlia's eyes light up. "I'd love to! It's always more fun to have a willing participant, though...are you sure?" Danny nods eagerly, and the group moves to a quieter corner of the bar. Tahlia begins with some basic hand gestures and relaxation techniques, and within minutes Danny is feeling more and more drowsy. "Now, Danny," Tahlia murmurs softly, "I want you to imagine that you're in a deep, dark forest. You can hear the rustling of the trees and feel the chill of the night air. You're feeling very relaxed and peaceful." Danny nods dreamily, swaying slightly on his feet. "Good," Tahlia continues. "Now, I want you to imagine that you're completely naked in this forest. You're not ashamed or embarrassed, you just feel completely comfortable in your own skin." Danny's eyes go wide, but he can't seem to stop himself from imagining it. He feels a blush spreading across his face as he conjures up the mental image of himself standing in the middle of a forest, completely vulnerable and exposed. "Very good, Danny," Tahlia says approvingly. "Now, I want you to walk slowly through the forest. Feel the leaves crunching under your feet, feel the breeze brushing against your skin. You're completely at ease." Danny does as he's told, plodding through the imaginary forest with a blank expression on his face. His friends stare at him, completely bewildered by his sudden behaviour. "Danny, stop! What are you doing?" Hanna says, shaking his shoulder. But Danny doesn't respond, lost in the hypnotic reverie that Tahlia has placed him in. He continues to stumble through the forest, completely unaware of his surroundings. She instructs him to do all sorts of things, from getting her drinks to dancing for her amusement. And through it all, Danny is completely unable to resist. It isn't until the next day, when his friends tell him what happened, that Danny realizes he was hypnotized. But even then, he can't help feeling a little bit excited at the thought of being under someone else's control.
