Stella's grin widened. "Well, let me show you how it's done," she said, turning to David. "David, come here for a second." David obediently walked over to Stella, feeling a sense of familiarity wash over him as he did so. Stella placed a hand on his shoulder and whispered a single word, "sleep." She offered to hypnotize him each morning before the doors opened, and soon he was extremely conditioned and easy to drop into trance with a word or a finger snap from Stella. One warm day, the cafe was almost empty when one of David's friends, Victoria, popped in to say hello to him at work, and get a cuppa. CHATBOT: As Victoria sat down at the bar, David poured her a cup of coffee. They chatted for a bit, catching up on their lives, and laughing about old memories. Just as they were getting into a particularly funny story, Stella appeared over David's shoulder, causing both of them to jump slightly. "David, who is this lovely lady?" Stella said, smiling at Victoria. "Oh, this is Victoria! We went to college together." David said, introducing his friend. Stella's smile widened, and she turned to David with a finger raised. "David, would you like to show your friend here a little trick I taught you?" She asked him, winking. David nodded, feeling a little nervous. He knew what was coming next. Victoria gasped, looking between Stella and David. "What...what did you do?" She stammered out. Stella chuckled, looking pleased with herself. "Just a little hypnosis. David is very suggestible now, thanks to me. It's quite amazing how easy it is to put him under." She said, sounding a little too proud of herself. Victoria looked at David, who was still slumped over, and then back at Stella. "That's...kind of creepy, don't you think?" She said. Stella's smile faltered a bit, and she looked a little offended. "Oh, I don't think so. It's just a harmless little trick. David enjoys it, don't you, David?" She said, looking down at him. David didn't respond, still lost in trance. Victoria shook her head, feeling uncomfortable. "I don't know if I like it. It seems like he's not really in control of himself." She said. Stella shrugged, backing off a bit. "Well, it's not for everyone. But David here finds it very relaxing. And it helps him focus better on his work." She said. Victoria nodded, still a little uneasy. "I guess if he's okay with it..." She trailed off, watching as Stella woke David back up. David blinked a few times, looking a little disoriented. "What happened?" He asked, rubbing his eyes. Stella chuckled, patting his shoulder again. "Just having a little fun with our friends. You were very good, David." She said, turning away and heading back to the kitchen. Victoria's eyes widened in surprise, and she watched as Stella snapped her fingers. Instantly, David's eyes glazed over and he stood there, unmoving. "It's amazing, isn't it?" Stella said, beaming with pride. "I've been working with David on his hypnotic conditioning, and he's now extremely suggestible and obedient to my commands." Victoria looked at David with concern, not sure if she should be impressed or worried. Stella noticed her expression and quickly added, "Don't worry, he's in good hands. I would never do anything to harm him. I'm just helping him reach his full potential." Victoria nodded, still feeling uneasy about the whole situation. As David finished preparing the latte and handed it to her, she couldn't help but wonder what other commands Stella had planted in his mind.
