Dan offers her a grin, unaware of the underlying manipulation, and turns to leave. After a beat, he shakes off the confusion and walks out. Helen watches him go, her smile lingering with a hint of newfound power and a touch of guilt hidden in her expression. FADE OUT.

USER: In this script, office manager Helen (40s) decided to bring her jovial brother-in-law, Mike (50s), who does a bit of stage hypnosis as a kind of hobby, in to her workplace to offer some of the staff one-on-one sessions to help them de-stress, that sort of thing. Dan (26) is the only one to take her up on it (unknown to anyone else), and he turns out to be highly hypnotizable, easily sinking into totally obedient trance, which Mike remarks upon. Hearing this, the watching Helen smirks thoughtfully and asks Mike to give Dan a few post-hypnotic suggestions allowing her to easily put Dan deep into this obedient & mindless state herself, that he will not consciously remember.
