She had never intended to hypnotize her husband, let alone in front of so many people. She tried to snap him out of it by waving her hands in front of his face, but nothing seemed to work. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Tom snapped out of his trance. He looked around, bewildered, and then began to laugh along with everyone else. Samantha was relieved that her husband was okay and that everyone had taken the incident in good humor. She made a mental note to be more careful in the future with her sparkly necklace and to avoid drinking so much wine at her parties.
