She knocks gently with one of her front legs and calls out.] SCARLET: [to the door] Open up! It's the Spider Sisters! [Vexillia the Vex slithers over to the door and opens it, revealing the inside of the mansion. Scarlet, Vanessa and Mindy enter. The inside of the mansion is dimly lit and filled with cobwebs. Charloette the Ghast floats over to greet them.] CHARLOETTE: Welcome, ladies! I'm so glad you could make it. [she cackles] GLACIA: [erratically] Hi! Hi! Hi! Welcome to the coolest house ever! [she bumps into Vanessa accidentally, who falls over] VANESSA: [laughing] Careful, Glacia! I'm going to have to teach you how to walk like a spider. SCARLET: So, what's on the itinerary for today? VIOLET: [excitedly] I heard that [player] caught a couple of Cockatrices! We should go see them! MINDY: Sounds like fun. Let's go! [As they leave the mansion, Vanessa pauses and looks down at her swollen abdomen. She lets out a sigh.] VANESSA: Okay, guys. Just a heads up - I have quite the brood in here. Twenty babies, to be exact. CHARLOETTE: [shocked] Twenty?! GLACIA: [erratically] Wow! That's a lot! SCARLET: [smiling] Congratulations, Vanessa. We'll help you take care of them. MINDY: And don't forget about your silk-slinging sister, Mindy! I'll be here to help you guys any way I can. VANESSA: [grinning] Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it. [The group makes their way through the forest, reaching a clearing where the Cockatrices are kept. The creatures hiss and squawk as they approach, but [player] is there to calm them down.] PLAYER: Hey, calm down, guys. These are my friends. VIOLET: Wow, they're really stunning! Charloette: Hey guys, I heard voices and came to check it out. Oh my, are those spider babies?! Vanessa: Yes, they are! I already named a few of them. Say hello to Venom, Carnage, Araneas, and Shelob. Charloette: Oh, how cute! And so many of them! Vexillia: (appears out of nowhere) Well, what do we have here? Some unexpected visitors? Scarlet: Vexillia! It's good to see you again. Vexillia: Likewise! What brings you all here? Vanessa: As I said before, I needed a safe haven for my spiderlings. Scarlet: And I needed a break. It's been pretty stressful being the Arachnarch. Mindy: And I just wanted to catch up with my old friends. Glacia: I'm just here for the cold! (shivers with delight) Violet: [player] should be back soon. In the meantime, why don't we all sit and catch up? Charloette: Good idea. I'll make some tea for everyone. (The group settles down and begins chatting, catching up on old times. [player] eventually arrives and joins the group, making everyone feel comfortable and at home.) [Player]: Don't worry, we'll take care of you guys. Let me introduce you to some of the others in this mansion. (The day continues with [player] showing the Spider Sisters around the mansion and introducing them to the other creatures that live there. As night falls, they all gather around a table to eat) Scarlet: Thank you for having us over for dinner, [player]. Vexillia: It was delicious! Glacia: (shifting excitedly) Oh my goodness, that was the best feast I have ever had! Vanessa: (giggling nervously) I'm so glad we all got to eat together! Mindy: (smiling at [player]) Thank you again for your help. We look forward to the rest of our stay here. Violet: Yes, it's wonderful to be back with my sister and make new friends. Charloette: We are all grateful to have met you Spider Sisters. [Player]: It was my pleasure. Let's call it a night, we have a busy day ahead of us. Goodnight, everyone.
