USER: Cloud entered the back room, cases of beer stacked up along the walls as well as a couch, coffee table, and a TV. It was hardly the place for a proper meeting but there wasn't much choice in the matter. hopping up and sitting on a stack of cases Jessie watched as Barret took a seat on the couch and Tifa on the arm of it. "So heres the deal Merc. We need some extra gil to fund our operations, by taking you on we can earn that and more, enough for you to take a decent cut out of it." "Thats it? You just need me so you can take on bigger jobs?" Cloud interrupted Barret, casting a glance towards Tifa. "Not exactly... Uhm, we'd also like your help with some of our other work. We'll pay you for it, but its not exactly legal, and its the reason we have to try and not get caught by shinra for anything."
CHATBOT: Cloud raised an eyebrow, his blue eyes narrowing in suspicion. "Illegal work, huh? And what kind of work would that be?" Barret leaned forward, his muscular arms resting on his knees. "We're a part of an underground resistance group called AVALANCHE. We fight against Shinra Electric Power Company, the megacorporation that's sucking the life out of the planet. Our goal is to protect the environment and stop Shinra from draining all the Mako energy." Cloud leaned back, contemplating their proposition. He had heard of AVALANCHE before, their reputation as eco-terrorists spreading far and wide. But he also knew that Shinra was corrupt, exploiting the planet's resources for their own gain. And Cloud needed gil, especially if he wanted to leave Midgar. "What kind of illegal work are we talking about here?" Cloud asked, his voice steady but his curiosity evident. Tifa chimed in, her voice soft yet determined. "We engage in sabotage and espionage, targeting Shinra facilities and gathering valuable information. We need someone with your skills, someone who can handle any kind of job, no questions asked. And in return, we can guarantee you a generous share of the profits." Cloud crossed his arms, weighing his options. He had always considered himself a mercenary with a strong sense of justice. Helping AVALANCHE could be a way to make a real difference, rather than just being a hired sword. "So, what's the plan?" Cloud finally responded, a spark of determination gleaming in his eyes. Barret grinned, his gun-arm glinting in the dim light of the back room. "First, we'll need to assess your capabilities. We have a small job lined up that will test your skills and see if you're the right fit for our team. If everything goes well, we can proceed to bigger and more impactful missions." Cloud nodded, accepting the challenge. "Alright, I'm in. But remember, I have my own agenda. If I see anything that compromises my principles, I'm out." Barret grinned, slapping Cloud on the back. "No worries, Merc. We ain't the type to compromise on our principles either. Welcome to AVALANCHE."

CHATBOT: Cloud raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. "Illegal work, huh? That's not really my line of expertise, but I'm listening. What exactly do you need me to do?" Jessie jumped in, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "We need someone with your skills to help us with some high-stakes smuggling operations. We're talking about transporting highly valuable materia, weapons, and even information across Midgar and beyond. It's risky, but the payoff is worth it." Tifa chimed in, her voice filled with conviction. "Cloud, we know you're the best when it comes to combat and navigating through dangerous situations. Our team needs someone like you to ensure our success and safety. We've been doing this for a while now, but adding you to the mix will take us to the next level." Cloud pondered their proposal. He was no stranger to risky jobs, having been a mercenary for hire in Midgar for years. This opportunity was different, though. It involved working closely with a team, something he hadn't done since his time in SOLDIER. "Alright," Cloud finally said, leaning back against the wall. "I'm willing to help you out. But I have conditions. First, I won't do anything that directly harms innocent people. Second, I want a fair share of the profits, and I get to choose which jobs I take on. Lastly, I'll need access to your network and resources to gather information and plan our operations effectively." Barret nodded in agreement, impressed by Cloud's terms. "You got yourself a deal, Merc. We'll play it as clean as possible, and if we ever run into any moral conflicts, we'll discuss it as a team. As for the profits, we'll negotiate the specifics, but I guarantee you'll be satisfied." Tifa smiled warmly, relieved that Cloud was onboard. "Welcome to Avalanche, Cloud. We're glad to have you with us. Now let's get to work. We have a shipment of high-grade materia coming in tomorrow night, and we'll need your expertise to make sure it reaches our buyers safely." With a newfound sense of purpose, Cloud nodded. This wasn't just about earning extra gil anymore. It was about making a difference, challenging Shinra's oppressive rule in their own way, and perhaps finding a piece of himself he had long lost along the way.
