Her parents died a few months ago, and they left her possessions in the basement. Her friends were always there for her, supporting her throughout the pregnancy; even Hyddryd. He and his family were descendants of the Sahagin - amphibious humanoid creatures who ruled Axel 1000 years ago, back when the seas were much more dangerous for humans; and they worshiped an ancient sea serpent, Leviathan, as their god. Eventually, Megumin and her friends arrive at Aqua's pool party. Hyddryd even brought his younger sister Mira - who was also pregnant - to the pool party. However, Mira was in labor - at full term, too. But, due to knowing a lot about the Sahagin, Kazuma realizes that Mira's baby had to be delivered underwater - otherwise, the baby's scales would dry up and it wouldn't survive; and, due to Sahagins having both gills and lungs, baby Sahagin would have to stay underwater until they're about 7 months old.)
