With a smirk, she decided to make his day even worse. As Klaus began to stride past her, she swiftly extended her foot to intentionally trip him, sending him sprawling onto the cold, hard floor. 5. "Oooh, how clumsy of you," Carmelita taunted, pretending to sound sympathetic as she watched Klaus rub his sore knee and attempt to regain his composure. "It's too bad that all those books you love so much don't teach you how to walk." 6. Klaus groaned, knowing that he had to endure more of Carmelita's torment just to make it through the day. Suddenly, he felt a disgusting sensation against his face. "Ewww!" he exclaimed, as he realized that Carmelita was pressing her sweaty sole against his cheek. 7. "What's the matter, Baudelaire?" she teased, grinding the ball of her foot against his nose. "You like sticking your nose in those books, why not sniff a little harder?" She slowly dragged her foot down from his nose to his chin, all while smirking at him. 8. "You're nothing but a filthy foot sniffer," Carmelita sneered, suppressing a laugh.
