CHATBOT: Danny finished his shift at the local convenience store and headed out into the summer evening. Being an anthro dragon, his wings shimmered in the warm sunshine. As he walked, he came across his parent's old abandoned home. They had left town when he was young, leaving him with a sense of abandonment he could never shake. Curiosity got the best of him, and he entered the building where they had briefly lived. Every room was empty, but he didn't mind. He was here to explore and see if there was anything left that could spark his memories. As he rummaged through the old musty furniture, he stumbled upon a damaged VHS tape. It was a strange find, considering his parents had left ages ago and were never technologically savvy. He headed to a nearby convenience store to buy a VHS player, so he could test the tape. He went back to the house, inserted the tape, and pressed play. The tape started off fine, depicting a busy restaurant in 1982. He saw his father bustling around as a waiter, and his mother was seated at one of the tables. However, the white noise and occasional static made him uneasy, and he felt his scales prickle with goosebumps. During a particular scene, the tape distorted, and Danny heard whispers followed by disturbing music. He quickly pushed the stop button, but it was too late. It switched to a gruesome scene, and the screams of his parents filled the room. It was almost like the screams were coming from inside the house, and he felt a cold breeze tickle up his spine. Danny knew that the tape was cursed, so with trembling hands, he pulled out the VHS and shattered it into tiny pieces. He could feel the curse leaving and thanked whatever powers that were for his luck. However, as he was leaving the abandoned house, he noticed something strange. The shadows were beginning to stretch towards him, and the feeling of unease returned. It was up to Danny to find out what was happening before it was too late.
