The other monsters heard his call and trembled in fear, knowing that Rathalos was on the hunt. But Rathalos was not alone in his quest. As he flew, he could feel the presence of other hunters, humans who had come to his territory to hunt the monsters that called it home. And so, Rathalos swooped down from the sky, his claws slashing at the human hunters, his fiery breath sending them running for cover. He would protect his mate at all costs, even if it meant taking on the most dangerous prey of all. In the end, though, Rathalos's fury subsided, as he realized that his mate was safe and unharmed. And so, he flew back to his nest, content in the knowledge that he had done his duty as a monster and as a mate.
