Shrek bellowed heartily, as he stripped off his famously muddied tunic, revealing an expanse of green skin that could only be described as a spectacle of nature. Taking the plunge, both gentlemen entered the pond with a carefree splash, not a stitch of clothing on their fair (well, in Shrek's case, green) skin. They chatted and laughed, their conversation drifting almost as languidly as the lily pads floating atop the water. Shrek, ever the gracious host--even if a bit uncouth--provided the ambiance with a symphony of flatulence. The bubbles emerged like a natural jacuzzi, with an aroma that was far less inviting than the evening bouquet of a royal feast. The stench was so fierce that the resident fish found themselves in a rather untenable position, flipping belly-up as if defeated by Shrek's potent, invisible underwater assaults. Arthur, however, seemed utterly unfazed by the gaseous outbursts that accompanied their conversation. In fact, every thunderous release from Shrek's ogre-sized behind caused Arthur's eyes to sparkle with an inexplicable attraction. Ah yes, his laughter would ring out, a testament to his peculiar fondness for Shrek's sulphuric symphonies. "By the Lady of the Lake, Shrek, I've seen dragons with less fiery belches from their bowels. It's... it's almost... majestic," Arthur proclaimed, a mixture of admiration and amusement coloring his voice, the very image of a man smitten by what others would call a biological hazard. Shrek, basking in the glow of acceptance and barely-contained pride, let out yet another powerful rip, a sonic boom that echoed against the trees and sent a flock of birds into the sky, fearing perhaps an ogre ...
