She strolled over to my desk with a sway in her hips that made me think of moonlit nights and bottles of champagne. She traced one long, silky-gloved finger over the worn leather of my chair and settled those emerald eyes on me, making me feel uncomfortably seen for the first time in years. "I have a job for you," Jessica purred, taking her time with it, playing with the words like a cat toy. "Something a little delicate. Let's just say, the authorities... might not be the best option." I considered her for a moment, my curiosity piqued despite her obvious attempts at seduction. "All right. Tell me more." But Jessica had other ideas.
