As they walked, Lena couldn't help but notice that there were other humans here too. They didn't look like they belonged in this world, just like her. Sonic explained that they were part of the Humankind System, a group of humans who had been transported to Planet Avalice just like Lena. When they arrived at the treehouse where Lilac and Carol lived, Lena felt a bit nervous. Lilac was a purple dragon and Carol was a green wildcat, both of whom were incredibly skilled fighters. But as she got to know them, Lena realized that they were kind and welcoming. They explained that they had been fighting against the Nocturnus Clan for years, and that they needed all the help they could get. Lena knew that she couldn't just sit on the sidelines.
