What he uncovered was a small, intricate pendant shaped like a dragon, encrusted with what appeared to be delicate sapphires. He admired the craftsmanship and the glint of the gemstones. 'Aha!' thought Louis, 'This will make a fine addition to my collection!' As soon as the thought crossed his mind, a sudden gust of wind whipped through the alley, extinguishing the lanterns that barely provided any light.
