Scene: Jane and Sam are in a toy store, looking at board games. Suddenly, Sam starts screaming and lashing out, knocking over board games and toys. Jane tries to calm her down. Jane: Sam, Sam, what's wrong? You're scaring everyone. Sam: (screaming) I can't do this! I can't do anything right! Jane: It's okay, Sam, I'm here. What's wrong? Sam: (yelling) Everything is wrong! I can't make a decision and I don't know what to do and I hate myself! Jane: You don't have to hate yourself, Sam. You're amazing just the way you are. Sam: (crying) But I'm not! I can't even buy a stupid board game without freaking out! Jane: It's okay to feel overwhelmed sometimes. We can take a break and come back later. Sam: (sobbing) But what if I never get better? Jane: (hugging Sam) You will get better, Sam. It takes time and practice, but you're doing great already. Sam: (sniffling) Thanks, Jane. I don't know what I'd do without you. Jane: (smiling) You don't have to worry about that. I'll always be here for you.
