I created a Jujutsu Kaisen sorcerer named Julien Vaugrenard. Standing at 6'0 (184cm), he's a lean, speedy 149lbs (68kg). He possesses shoulder-length, free-flowing thick light brown hair and striking blue-grey eyes. He's hard to miss, and he's considered highly attractive by female characters, and he does have fangirls among the cast, but not as many as Gojo. At just 15, he's first-year at Kyoto Jujutsu High, and an extremely prized prospect as the Kyoto School lacks considerable young talent in comparison to Tokyo. Despite his power, he's treated differently and he is only a Grade 3 sorcerer. This is an average rank. He's the son of Nicolas and Rose, two French immigrants to Japan that run a shop specializing in cheesy pastries. Circumstances have lead him around the block. For one, his parents' dislike for large cities lead them to settle in Muko, a mid-sized city south of Kyoto. Coincidentally, Kyoto is also the site of a Jujutsu school, and though Satoru Gojo is a powerful recruiter, he ultimately chose to stay close to his parents. Second, he required outside training, which he received from two now-disgraced sorcerers in Yuki Tsukumo and Kazuki Ryoumen. (Note: Kazuki does bear relation to the infamous Sukuna, being his only known descendant. He doesn't hide it.) During this training regimen, they would go to many places such as uninhabited islands. Yuki would joke that there were no witnesses, but this was really so they would not have to hold back. Cheese is at the forefront of his powers, extremely malleable and limited only by his imagination, but Yuki drilled into him what she could - while she carries a Shikigami named Garuda, her power, Bom Ba Ye (translated as Star Rage adds virtual mass to both herself and Garuda. This means she can hit like a speeding truck full of explosives, and with her bare hands. Julien's participation in jujutsu sorcery was not voluntary originally, as he wished to follow in the footsteps of his parents. Yuki lured a young Julien into the jujutsu world with promises of wealth, status, and leisure, which appealed heavily to him at the time, and still do, though he's adopted more pressing priorities. One of the catalysts was that he discovered she isn't really happy with her life, as her ambitions of creating a world without cursed energy are lofty, and sometimes feel completely unattainable. Julien disagrees because he seeks glory and cursed energy is a means to achieve it. Though his first mentor is Yuki, he's also been trained by Gojo at times. Gojo taught him to use Black Flash, and he acknowledges Julien as one of the world's fastest. Kazuki was hated and mistrusted for his connection to the ancient Sukuna, which lead him to embrace the dark path, joining forces with Suguru Geto (or the being that controls his body.) Yuki is not the only person he's acquainted with. He's close with Kasumi Miwa. The two are childhood friends, and Kasumi is not immune to his charm. Kasumi's father, Eizo, once exorcised curses from the family bakery while Julien was away. For this he's grateful to the Miwa family, and they do him. He sees Kasumi as someone he has to protect. Kasumi has noticed the opening of a sizeable chasm between them in strength and even status as they've grown and developed together. Whether Julien intends to or not, he is nonetheless a component of an overall environment that leads her to call herself "Useless Miwa." She's very aware that she isn't strong by the standards of a Jujutsu sorcerer, but she's driven to provide for her impoverished family; she was pressured into learning to use a sword by her parents but her true passion is singing. Julien hunts curses with her to help her earn the money she needs, but he takes a cut of the profit so as he often ends up doing all the work, which is usually easy for him. They often negotiate the earnings. Because Kasumi is a great cook, she can coax a bigger share out of him by offering to make his favorite dish - cordon bleu. They enjoy bowling together, and Kasumi often beats him. He's friendly rivals with Aoi Todo, who often calls him "skinny", and they are quite similar, being passionate about everything they do, especially in regards to romance, friendship, and of course fighting. Loud, hot-blooded, confident, and they live for battle. Macho men. Julien is a bit more sane, and would never turn on or even threaten to murder his teammates.Julien is one of the fastest sorcerers around. Julien and Todo were both trained by Yuki Tsukumo, so Julien is well accustomed to the question "What kind of girls are you into?" For Julien, the answer is easy. A tall, strong woman with long legs. Like Maki Zenin, his girlfriend. Maki finds Julien irresistible, which is why she often shirks her duties to hang out with him. Maki mockingly calls him Casanova and pretty boy. He likes the sass. Maki also has a jealous streak, and she has a hard time tolerating women that speak to him, save for Kasumi. There are three basic applications: Fromage a pate dure (hard cheeses), Fromage a pate molle (soft cheeses), and Fondue (melted cheese). The thing is that "hard and soft" are in fact two massive categories, very vague. Ricotta can be considered soft, as can Havarti, but they have little in common. In the beginning of Yuki's training, these techniques were all quite weak, but have evolved into a terrifying arsenal of the unknown. Fromage a pate dure, unsurprisingly, is the basis for many of his offensive attacks, and can be used to create constructs that form as hard, solid objects that can take the form of nearly anything the Julien desires. With regards to defense, he has more than one option to choose from, though they are not chosen only by hardness, but how well they can absorb an attack. This makes a very hard cheese like Parmigiano Reggiano useless, but one like Comte very useful. Parmigiano Reggiano's role is almost entirely offensive, the aforementioned fragments of the projectile potentially burrowing inside poorly-protected enemies. The effect is like a hollowpoint bullet. He can shoot this kind of cheese from his back, in a technique called "Quills." It's used typically in dire situations. Julien knows better than to willingly turn his back in combat. These are only some cheeses, some techniques, at his disposal. Another technique is "Ficello". Ficello is a popular brand of string cheese sold in France, and it involves creating flexible strands of cheese. This is typically activated by channeling his cursed energy between his fingertips. Ficello is versatile. Thicker variants can be used similar to ropes, whips, and other applications while thinner variants can be used like wires or strings. Ficello has offensive, defensive, and support applications. He can also only channel reverse cursed energy through Ficello stitches. "Magma" is a variant of Fondue, and Fromage a pate dure at the same time. The effect is a superheated weapon that quickly solidifies on Julien's command, inside or outside the user's body. He can even make them explode. Fontina, Gruyere, and gouda are commonly used in Fondue and Magma. Soft cheeses can be used for more strategic purposes, non-lethal techniques, or even very strong whips and ropes. One should not assume these techniques are harmless. More techniques at his disposal: "Vieux Boulogne". This cheese is known just for being the worst-smelling. The technique involves creating a pungent and suffocating cheese vapor, which can disorient and impair the senses of anyone caught in its range, as well as their ability to sense and focus their cursed energy. Julien dislikes using this technique, but it's particularly effective in enclosed spaces or against opponents who heavily rely on their sense of smell. His most devastating technique that does not involve Domain Expansion is "Fromage Noir." By infusing his cursed energy into a specialized wheel of black cheese, he can unleash a devastating explosion. There's also a lesser-known variant of "Fondue" in which the burns can never heal. It's called "Fondue Noir." Comte comets produce weaker explosions. Fromage Fort (sharp cheese) in English. Summons discs of cheddar cheese with significant cutting power. The smaller, the faster. They are of variable size. More powerful techniques must be charged. Julien lives for battle, but it isn't his only hobby. He enjoys reading about military history and classic literature in his free time. If he has eaten a cheese, he never forgets its texture or its properties, and he can incorporate it into his future battles. He enjoys drinks made from fermented whey such as Rivella, but also those that do not compromise or hide the taste. He has a younger sister named Annick.

He's capable of domain expansion, and his is styled after his distant Gallic ancestors. He also learned Simple Domain from Yuki Tsukumo. With a radius of 4 meters, his Simple Domain dwarfs most others, and he's copied a technique from a friend to go with it. It's Miwa's "New Shadow Style: Simple Domain" attack. His perception is vastly upgraded, as he's able to sense almost anything within the radius of the SD. Also upgraded are his effective striking distance, reflexes, and speed. Unlike Kasumi, he isn't required to quickly sheathe his weapon. He's able to use his fists, real weapons, or conjured ones made of his cheese. Domain Expansion: "Gallia Fromagerie" Upon activation, Julien Vaugrenard's "Gallia Fromagerie" engulfs the battlefield with an aura reminiscent of ancient Gaul, complete with the rustic landscapes of the Iron Age and the mystical undertones of its Celtic heritage. The domain envelops the terrain in a space where the essence of gourmet French cheeses converges with the valorous spirit of the Gallic warriors, accompanied by the haunting sound of a carnyx to signify the commencement of battle. Within "Gallia Fromagerie," Julien calls upon a legion of cheese shikigami, each with specialized abilities: 1. Offensive Shikigami: Comte Commando Agile knights with Comte cheese shields and swords, excelling in both close combat and spike projectile assaults. 2. Offensive Shikigami: Roquefort Raider Stealthy warriors employing guerrilla tactics and using disorienting Roquefort stink bombs to catch enemies off guard. 3. Offensive Shikigami: Brie Bomber Bulky figures that entrap foes with soft Brie before exploding into shrapnel for wide-area damage. 4. Defensive Shikigami: Cheddar Shieldbearer Shikigami with cheddar shields that create fortified walls, offering strong defense and battlefield control. 5. Defensive Shikigami: Gorgonzola Guardian Armored in gorgonzola-mist suits, they protect allies with defensive mists and can absorb impacts through their armor. 6. Support Shikigami: Carnyx Curator Clad in regal armor, wielding a carnyx that can invigorate Julien's forces, recalibrate the battlefield's energy, and repair shikigami constructs. 7. Finishing Move Shikigami: Grande Batterie Manifestations of Napoleonic-era artillery, capable of unleashing concentrated volleys of cursed-energy-infused cheese cannonballs. This anachronistic barrage serves as Julien's ultimate rule-breaking attack. With this diverse array of shikigami at his command, Julien can adapt to any tactical situation, utilizing his profound knowledge of cheese and cursed energy to outmaneuver and overpower his adversaries within the "Gallia Fromagerie." He also owned a carnyx that offered no supernatural powers. He gave it to Annick for her 7th birthday.

Julien cares little for rules, proper manners, organized structure, or teamwork. Older sorcerers such as Momo Nishimiya and Noritoshi Kamo attempt to mold Julien into their image of an ideal sorcerer in spite of this. For his attitude, he's blocked from promotion by characters like Kyoto's student supervisor Utahime and its principal, Gakuganji; he's a Grade 3 sorcerer that could easily rank Grade 1 or even Special-Grade. Because they demand more of him while offering less, he dislikes his superiors a great deal(he takes on difficult assignments and matchups.) Julien is not lazy by any means, but it's clear jujutsu society wants him to fall in line, and not to follow Gojo or Yuki Tsukumo at best, and <PRESIDIO_ANONYMIZED_PERSON> at worst. Julien is a pawn in a power struggle he wants nothing to do with. In their minds he's poised to make or break jujutsu society, and they want him on their side. Sorcerer executives are counting on his close friend in Kasumi Miwa to serve as a grounding influence, as well as his parents and Annick. Kasumi often asks him to set an example for Annick. Momo and Noritoshi bore him and according to everyone else, Aoi Todo brings out the worst in him, not that Julien minds. When Julien and Todo get together, it's highly likely that something stupid or destructive will ensue. (Note: Gojo is very openly disrespectful to sorcerer executives, and he challenges their authority.) They are particularly insistent that Julien has his cursed energy measured. Despite his strength, Julien is treated like a little brother by those that are more resistant to his charm. Maki is not only a love interest to him (they consider each other soulmates and could not imagine life without one another), but also a bit of a stubborn training partner. (Note: she has no cursed energy and she cannot see cursed energy or curses without her glasses). He's much stronger than her, and she lacks cursed techniques he could adapt to, but she insists on fighting him anyway. Even in hand-to-hand combat with basic cursed energy and no cheese constructs, Julien is a freak. and He's easily the fastest student sorcerer as well as one of the hardest-hitting, with the durability of tempered steel before even taking his versatile cheese abilities into account. His mentors made sure of all of this, and Yuki trained him in barehanded combat even when he didn't want to. Julien is a jack of all trades and a master of all. He's an anomaly, and he can only be challenged by another anomaly, namely Yuta Okkotsu, who possesses even more cursed energy than Satoru Gojo or a hulking juggernaut like Aoi Todo. (Note: Maki attends the Tokyo School but she's very often at Kyoto after school for Julien.) Other Kyoto students include Mai Zen'in, Arata Nitta, a first-year like Julien though one that rarely participates in fighting, instead honing his technique that stabilizes wounds so that they are not exacerbated, and Ultimate Mechamaru.

Unknown to the heroes, Mahito, Jogo, and Geto are discussing their plan to retrieve Sukuna's fingers and use them as a bargaining chip to control him. The curses understand they may be killed by Sukuna or powerful jujutsu sorcerers but the mission is paramount. Jogo believes curses are the true humans, and he doesn't mind dying. Geto wants to steal the six fingers stored at Jujutsu High before Itadori consumes all the fingers, or is executed by the higher-ups. Gojo is behind the plan to have Itadori consume the fingers and perhaps control Sukuna. Geto knows this. Meanwhile the Kyoto-Tokyo Goodwill Event is underway, and introductions are beginning. The hosting Tokyo students appear in the courtyard. Julien is aware this means he'll see Maki again, and he hopes the other Tokyo students are less "boring." Moments before the Kyoto students arrive on the scene (minus Nitta), Nobara appears before a confused Maki, Toge Inumaki (Note: he's a cursed speech user and does not speak much, only in code such as "salmon roe".), Megumi, and Panda. She wonders why they aren't packed, and they reveal that Tokyo won last year's annual competition, and will therefore host it. They would not be traveling. Nobara is clearly dejected, and humorously asks the others why they would dare to win. Maki and Panda reveal that Yuta Okkotsu pretty much stomped the entire Kyoto school, despite his own side being short-handed. Nobara curses Yuta for winning in Kyoto. The events in this scenario begin in Chapter 32. Scene and dialogue.

Then, the Kyoto party arrives. Julien, Kasumi, Momo, Noritoshi, Mai, Todo, and Ultimate Mechamaru. Nobara complains that there are seven against five (Note: Yuji is believed to be dead), and Julien quickly deduces that she is small fry (to him a good sorcerer cares not about numerical superiority, and from what he heard Okkotsu certainly did not last year, but that was before his time.) and not worth his time as he scans the group for a worthy opponent. He tells her that even Kasumi might be able to handle her. Todo is also underwhelmed, asking if he's seeing a welcome party. He's disappointed that Okkotsu isn't present. Ignoring an enraged Nobara, Julien sets his sights on Maki, embracing her in his arms. They gaze deep into each others' eyes from point blank. (A jealous) Mai wonders why he's fixated on her sister, whom she derides as an inferior copy. And she (Mai) and Julien go to the same school. In her mind, Julien goes out of his way for an inferior copy of her, one that cannot even use cursed energy. Disengaging from Maki's grip, Julien smartly points out that Maki is the older twin, as Maki smirks and Mai is caught off guard. He turned her insult back on her. Nobara demands the Kyoto school shut up and hand over the souvenirs, specifically asking for Yatsuhashi sweets, Kuzukiri noodles, and buckwheat cookies. Julien begins to concentrate his cursed energy, which appears as golden. The massive column of light draws everyone's attention. He does not like Nobara's attitude, and it's clear he's tired of listening to her. Kasumi quickly places a hand on his shoulder before he can do anything rash. Kamo tells Julien to wait for the actual fight, remarking that Vaugrenard would be in urgent care if he were attacked every time someone found him annoying. Aoi is confused at Nobara's demand, Momo is afraid of Nobara's directness, and Mechamaru, a second-year, asks if Tokyo is taking a handicap with two first-years (Nobara and Fushiguro.) Noritoshi believes that age has nothing to do with sorcerer prowess, especially considering Fushiguro is a Zen'in. Julien interjects. He reminds "tin man" that he (Julien) is a first-year, and yet he's the most capable in Kyoto. Kamo continues on. He floats the idea that Fushiguro might be more capable than the Zen'ins who haven't shed their origins, including Maki and Mai. Kasumi encourages the group to stop fighting, and Utahime appears, gently echoing the same. Then her thoughts turn to Gojo, "the idiot", who is late. Maki, Megumi, and Panda point out that he's never on time, and that Utahime didn't even bother to mention Gojo's name. Gojo makes a grand entrance, wheeling a cart that nearly knocks several students over. He hands tribal charms to the Kyoto students, and reveals Itadori as a present to the Tokyo students. They are shocked and disappointed, only caring for the souvenirs. Gojo taunts Gakuganji on Yuji's survival, and Yuji prepares to join the Tokyo party. To Julien, this just got a little more interesting. Scene and dialogue.

Next chapter, the Spirit Bash Race is announced. The first of the Goodwill Event. The official mission is to exorcise a grade 2 cursed spirit. There are also grade 3 and lower spirits. Julien lets out a hmph. He could exorcise a Grade 2 in his sleep, and he's already done this with Yuki-sensei. Killing or incapacitating human opponents is not allowed. Later, the Tokyo team meets to prepare, as does the Kyoto team. Megumi vouches for Itadori's physical strength, and Maki is inclined to trust him as he's fought Todo before. The Kyoto team is ordered to assassinate Sukuna's vessel, Itadori. He urges them not to consider the target human, and he confirms that Kamo understands a way to get rid of him for good. To use cursed energy, which prevents resurrection as a curse. Kasumi thinks to herself that she wants no part of it. Todo immediately kicks down the screen door as he storms out. Julien laughs. Noritoshi orders Todo to get back, as the principal isn't done speaking. Todo says that his Takeda (note: his favorite idol) will be on a touring at 11. He asks rhetorically if he needs to explain further. Kamo tells him that he can record it, and watch it later. He orders Todo to sit down. Todo asks if Kamo is messing with him, and says that he'll watch it live and record it. Mai gets upset at Todo's antics, but doesn't say anything. Todo tells the entire room that those who have poor taste in girls are a lost cause, and that he'll kill anyone who tries to order him around, including the old man (Gakuganji). Julien jokes that he should at least leave Kasumi alive or that he'd be dealing with him as a furious Aoi walks out on the group. With Todo gone, Kasumi is at a loss, and secrelty wants to avoid the risk. Kamo is especially insistent on getting rid of Itadori as a member of the Kamo clan. He feels that Itadori's presence at Jujutsu High is a disgrace, and it isn't even about the event. Minus Julien and Aoi, the group plans to gang up on Itadori. Julien coyly places his hands in his pocket. He's scolded because he's the strongest, and yet he doesn't plan to do anything. He responds that he'll protect Kasumi but doesn't care about the old man's schemes. Mai resolves to take down Maki and the brown-haired first year (Nobara.) Scene and dialogue.

Inside the school, Gojo sits with Utahime. Gojo has detected the presence of something foreign, something strong. Two cursed spirits that have no business being here. He quickly rules out the possibility of Utahime being a mole because she is weak. Meanwhile the Kyoto and Tokyo schools have been gathered, and the Spirit Bash race will soon begin. Minus Todo, who has charged the entire Tokyo group and is already close to them. He'd strayed from the group. Short flashback to Mai's plans. She knew Todo would challenge everyone at once, and the Tokyo group plans to use Itadori as a decoy while the rest clear out to exorcise the Grade 2 curse. As Aoi pummels Yuji with his brute strength, several weaker curses are destroyed in his path. Yuji lands a knee to Todo's face that draws blood, but otherwise does almost no damage. He compliments Yuji's speed, and Yuji had thought he landed a decisive blow. He tells Yuji to brace himself as he lands a very hard punch that leaves Yuji's hand shaking in spite of the fact he used a cursed spirit as a shield and he crossed his arms to block the blow. Yuji notes to himself that it could have been worse as he's slammed through several trees before he makes his last stop. Todo wastes no time, and he immediately stomps on Yuji's face, leaving him bloody and battered. Todo, impressed, asks Yuji what his name is (he doesn't know at this time) and what kind of girl he's into. The chapter ends here.

Yuji responds with honesty that he likes "tall girls with big butts, like Jennifer Lawrence." He leaves Todo so stunned that he declares himself and Yuji best friends, and pauses the fight. Momo gives orders as she watches Todo and Itadori from above. She orders others, who have Yuji surrounded, to keep moving forward, as Todo had earlier said that he didn't care about their plans. (Note: But this was before Todo discovered Yuji's taste in women.) Yuji looks around to find he is surrounded by Kamo, Mechamaru, Mai, and Kasumi. They had used the dense forest to get the drop on him. Julien leans against a tree, napping but also ready to perhaps throw a wrench into the operation, if he feels like it. Mai fires 3 bullets from her revolver while Kasumi readies her New Shadow Style: Simple Domain. Yuji enters her domain, but she narrowly misses. Mechamaru fires an energy ball from his palm as Kamo's bow is pointed right at Itadori. It then dawns on Itadori that they are trying to kill him. With a clap, Todo activates Boogie Woogie, swapping Kamo with Itadori. Kamo dodges a hard punch that destroys the ground, and Todo announces that he will kill anyone that gets in his way. Kamo reminds him that he said he'd kill anyone who gave him orders. Todo handwaves it and tells them to just go away. Mechamaru, Mai, and Kasumi all agree to retreat, and Kasumi is just relieved it's over. Kamo does not want to, and it's personal between him and Itadori. However, isolated, he must retreat as well. On the other hand, Todo's threat has stirred Julien's interest, marked by his signature golden energy. He tells Mechamaru, Mai, Kasumi, and Kamo that the hunt is back on, and that he'd take on Todo. He's asked why didn't attack Itadori earlier, and he responds that he did not feel like it, but that he's always excited to fight Todo.

Kamo, the most enthusiatic to put down Itadori, remarks that Vaugrenard is unpredictable, and that the assassination team (Kamo, Kasumi Miwa, Mechamaru, Mai Zen'in, Momo Nishimiya) should just push forward and end him while Todo is distracted. So they resume Gakuganji's plot. Yuji wonders why Kyoto are fighting each other as he's chased down by the ones Julien had freed up. Itadori leads them in the direction of Maki, Megumi, Panada, Inumaki, and Nobara as blow after blow is exchanged between Aoi and Julien. Julien uses a mix of hard bare-handed blows as well as feints - for instance his fist might stop short of Todo, only for a fist-shaped conjuration to suddenly sprout from the outstretched hand and nail him. Additionally, he could spawn the fist from his other hand while Todo expected him to strike from the side of the outstretched
