(As I entered the clubroom, I could hear Sayori and Natsuki discussing something - while Ayano, Himari, Kotonhoa, and Charloette were setting up different things, like an emerald green pool and other decorations. Strangely, Monika - our club president - wasn't there.) Kotonhoa: "Okay, that's everything. I think this will be great!" (I walked to see what they were doing.) Natsuki: "Oh! Hey, Yuri! Is everything okay?" Sayori: "We were just thinking of some ideas for our next club activity!" Yuri: "Ah, I see. What ideas do you have in mind?" Ayano: "We're thinking of having a pool party! We got this emerald green pool here to set up." Himari: "And we got some snacks and drinks ready too!" Charloette: "And some decorations to make it look festive." Yuri: "That sounds like a great idea! When are we planning to have this pool party?" Sayori: "We were thinking of having it this weekend! What do you think, Yuri?" Yuri: "That sounds perfect. I'll make sure to bring some snacks too." Natsuki: "Great! I can't wait to see you in a swimsuit, Yuri." (I blushed at Natsuki's comment.) Yuri: "Um, Natsuki, please don't tease me like that." Sayori: "Oh, come on, Yuri! Don't be shy. We're all friends here." Kotonhoa: "Yeah, it'll be fun! You'll see." (Hearing their encouragement, I couldn't help but smile.) Yuri: "Okay, I'll try to be a good sport about it." Charloette: "That's the spirit! We're gonna have so much fun!" (As everyone continued to chat and prepare for the pool party, I couldn't help but feel grateful to be part of such a wonderful club and have such supportive friends. Just then, we all heard a knock on the door.) Sayori: "I'll get it!" (Sayori went to the door and opened it, revealing Monika standing outside - but her belly was strangely swollen.) Monika: "Hey everyone, sorry I'm late." Sayori: "Monika! We were wondering where you were." Monika: "Sorry about that. I had some last-minute club business to take care of." Natsuki: "So, are you ready for the pool party this weekend?" Monika: "Pool party? What pool party?" Ayano: "We were just talking about having a pool party this weekend, Monika." Himari: "We already got everything prepared." Charloette: "And we invited other classmates too." Monika: "I'm sorry, but I didn't know anything about this- OW! Ow, ow, ow!" (As Monika spoke, she suddenly clutched her belly and winced in pain. I started to feel worried about her.) Sayori: "Monika, are you okay? What's wrong?" Monika: "I...I don't know. It just...hurts." Kotonhoa: "We should take you to the nurse's office." Monika: "N-N-No. Maybe some water should help." (I helped Monika into the pool, all while she's screaming in pain.)

(I could see that Monika was in a lot of pain, but she was trying to hide it. I felt like something was terribly wrong and she needed medical attention.) Yuri: "Sayori, can you call the nurse's office? We need to get Monika some help." Sayori: "Right, of course!" (Sayori quickly left to make the call, and I helped Monika out of the pool.) Yuri: "Monika, please tell us what's wrong. We're all here for you." (Monika looked at me with a pained expression.) Monika: "Yuri...I think I need to go to the hospital." (I felt my heart drop at her words. Something was seriously wrong.) Yuri: "Don't worry, Monika. We'll take you there right away." (Charloette quickly got dressed and drove us to the hospital, while we tried to comfort Monika as best we could.) --- (Two hours later, we were all gathered in the waiting room, waiting for news about Monika's condition.) Sayori: "I hope Monika's doing okay..." Natsuki: "Yeah, this is really worrying." Kotonhoa: "I hope it's not anything serious..." Ayano: "I'm sure she'll be fine." Himari: "We all care about Monika, and we have to stay strong for her." Charloette: "I'm just glad we got her to the hospital on time." (Just then, the doctor came out and approached us.) Doctor: "Are you all here for Monika?" Yuri: "Yes, how is she?" Doctor: "She's stable now. She suffered from a ruptured appendix, but we were able to remove it successfully." Sayori: "Thank goodness..." Doctor: "Monika will need to stay in the hospital for a few more days to recover, but she's expected to make a full recovery." Natsuki: "That's a relief..." Kotonhoa: "We've been so worried..." Ayano: "Thank you for letting us know." Doctor: "Of course. You can go see her now, but please don't stay too long as she needs to rest." Himari: "Okay, thank you." --- (As we entered Monika's hospital room, we all gathered around her bed, relieved to see her awake and in better spirits.) Monika: "Hey, everyone..." Sayori: "Monika! We've been so worried about you." Natsuki: "Yeah, we all missed you." Kotonhoa: "We hope you're feeling better." Ayano: "Is there anything we can do for you?" Himari: "We're all here for you, Monika." Charloette: "You had us scared there for a while." Monika: "I'm sorry for causing so much trouble..." Yuri: "No, don't be sorry. We're just glad you're okay." (Monika smiled weakly, looking at all of us.) Monika: "Thank you, everyone. I don't know what I would do without you all." Sayori: "We love you, Monika." Natsuki: "You're the best club president ever." Kotonhoa: "We're all in this together." Ayano: "We'll always be there for you." Himari: "You're not alone, Monika." Charloette: "We're family, and we take care of each other." (Monika's eyes brimmed with tears, and she held out her hand to us.) Monika: "Thank you, my friends. You mean the world to me..." (We all took her hand and squeezed it, grateful to have each other in this special literature club.)
