The baby Chiromaw slowly starts to recover, and the relieved parents turn to [player]) Chiromaw: "Thank you. You helped us more than you know." Lisa: "We owe you a debt of gratitude." (Player nods, feeling touched at the gratitude of the creatures of this strange world) [player]: "I'm just glad I could help. I hope your baby continues to thrive." (The Chiromaws thank [player] once again before flying off into the darkness. As [player] looks up at the night sky, they realize that this strange, dangerous world isn't so different from their own. Sometimes, all it takes is a little kindness to make a difference.)

As they enter the pool, [player] watches in awe as Lisa's skin begins to glow and her wounds start to heal) Lisa: (smiling weakly) "Thank you...thank you so much..." Chiromaw: "We have to be vigilant. Lisa and the babies are still in danger." [player]: "What do you mean?" Chiromaw: "There are creatures in this dimension that feed on the life force of others. They are attracted to the energy of unborn Chiromaws." [player]: "What can we do to protect them?" Chiromaw: "We have to stand guard. Keep them safe until they're strong enough to defend themselves." ([player] nods, determined to help the Chiromaws protect Lisa and her babies. They spend the next few days keeping watch over the pool, fending off any dangerous creatures that approach) (player): "I never thought I'd end up in a place like this. But I'm glad I came. ([player] watches in amazement as Lisa cares for her new offspring.) [player]: "That was incredible, Lisa. You're amazing." Lisa: "Thank you, kind traveler. You helped me bring my baby into this world." [player]: "It was an honor to witness such a miraculous event." Lisa: "Please, take this as a token of my gratitude." (hands [player] a small Chiromaw tooth) [player]: "Thank you, Lisa. I'll cherish it." And with that, [player] bids farewell to Lisa and her newborn and continues on their journey through the strange and wondrous dimension of the Betweenlands.

It had dark-green hide, four glowing eyes, bat-like wings, and razor-sharp teeth. Judging from its size, it's just a baby) [player]: "Hey there, little guy!" (reaches out to pet it) (The little creature lets out a curious growl) [player]: "You're an interesting one, aren't you?" (Suddenly, a larger version of the creature appears from the shadows - it also had dark-green hide, four glowing eyes, bat-like wings, and razor-sharp teeth) ???: "When did you get here?! And what are you doing with my son?!" [player]: (startled) "Oh, I didn't know he had a parent. I was just admiring him. I'm sorry." ???: "You have no idea the danger you put yourself in by approaching a baby Chiromaw. They are territorial creatures, and I am not in the mood to play nice with strangers-" (feels her massive belly rapidly convulse) "Oh no..." [player]: "Is everything okay?" ???: "Something's wrong..." (starts to feel a lot of pain) "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" [player]: "What's happening?!" ???: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" (The Chiromaw mother falls to the ground in pain) ???: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" [player]: "Is there anything I can do to help, miss Chiromaw?!" ???: "Please...call me Lisa." (feels the pain increase in intensity) "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" [player]: "Okay, Lisa. Is there anything I can do for you?"
