Nightwing steps back, brushing a hand through his hair, as members of 'The Team' regroup around him. "Status," Nightwing calls out, his leader instincts kicking in. "Area's secure, no casualties," Aqualad reports, his voice calm and collected even amidst the chaos they've just subdued. Superboy grunts in agreement, arms crossed, while Artemis checks over her bow, affirming everything is intact. The victory is short-lived, as the air around them begins to crackle with a familiar chaotic energy. "Great," Artemis mumbles, "The party's not over." A shimmering portal rips open in the night, and through it tumbles a figure, strikingly resembling Nightwing down to the heroic posture even in unconsciousness.
