Do you think it's safe for you all to be giving birth in an abandoned mineshaft? Vanessa grunted in response and Scarlet spoke up. Scarlet: It's the safest place we could find. Erepedes - giant centipedes - are a constant threat and we didn't want to risk our babies being eaten. We've been using this mineshaft as our home and nest for a while now. Mindy: Our species is resilient, though. We've managed to survive in all sorts of environments. We'll be fine. The room fell silent again as Vanessa gave another cry of pain. Mindy and Scarlet moved to assist her as the first spiderling finally emerged into the world. Vanessa: (panting) One down...nineteen to go... The sisters continued to work together as they brought more spiderlings into the world. Despite the danger of their surroundings, they were determined to protect their young and keep their family thriving.

(They fight off the Erepedes, but it's a tough battle. Vanessa stays behind due to her condition.) (Player and the Spider Sisters return to the Mineshaft and collapse in exhaustion.) Scarlet: (breathing heavily) We did it. Mindy: (relieved) That was close. Vanessa: (weakly) Did we win? (Player nods) Player: (proud) You all fought bravely. [Mindy leads the player deeper into the mineshaft] Mindy: You must excuse my sisters' behavior. They can be a bit overprotective at times, especially Vanessa. She's in labor right now, in fact. Player: Really? Congratulations, Vanessa! Vanessa: [wincing in pain] Thank you. One of my spiderlings is about to emerge from my womb any minute now. Mindy: Maybe you could stay and witness a spiderling's birth! It's a rare treat. Player: Sure, I'd be honored. [The screen fades to black, then fades back in to show Vanessa giving birth with Mindy and the player watching. One spiderling emerges from Vanessa's womb] Vanessa: [exhausted but happy] Welcome, my child. Mindy: Congratulations, Vanessa. You have a beautiful baby spiderling. Scarlet: [from above] How are things going down there? Mindy: Vanessa just gave birth to a healthy spiderling. Scarlet: That's wonderful news.
